Release Notes
Loadbars 0.11.0 introduces multi-row bar layout, letting you monitor many hosts or cores without bars becoming too narrow to read.
Features
- Multi-row bar layout — Set
--maxbarsperrow=N(ormaxbarsperrow=Nin~/.loadbarsrc) to wrap bars into multiple rows of equal height. The last row may have fewer bars, which automatically expand to fill the full window width. Set to0(default) for the previous single-row behavior. - Persistent via
whotkey — The new setting is saved and restored alongside all other options.
Improvements
- Global average lines adapt to rows — The CPU average (hotkey
g) and I/O average (hotkeyi) lines are now drawn once per row at the correct proportional position, instead of a single line across the full window. - Host separator color — Separator lines between hosts changed from yellow to red for better contrast against CPU user bars.
Breaking Changes
None. The default behavior (maxbarsperrow=0) is identical to v0.10.1.
