Release 0.2.2

Release Notes

Overview

This release introduces visual CPU peak tracking, making it easier to identify maximum CPU utilization at a glance. It also includes documentation improvements and refined default settings for a better out-of-the-box experience.

New Features

  • CPU peak indicator line — A horizontal line now marks the maximum combined system + user CPU usage across the session. This helps you quickly spot peak load without watching the bars continuously.
  • Color-coded peak line — The max CPU indicator line is colored to match the severity thresholds used by the bars, providing instant visual context for how high the peak reached.

Improvements

  • Updated default settings — Default configuration has been tuned for more practical everyday monitoring.
  • Platform documentation — The README now explicitly lists supported platforms: Linux and FreeBSD (with linprocfs mounted).
  • General cleanup — Internal code cleanup for improved maintainability.

Breaking Changes

None. This is a drop-in upgrade from v0.2.1.
