v0.5.0 — Background bulk sync
Background bulk sync
The Sync with Notifuse bulk action no longer processes orders synchronously inside the admin request — that made one API call per order (each up to the client's 15s timeout) and timed out at ~50 orders.
What changed
- Background processing — the bulk action now chunks the selection and enqueues an Action Scheduler job per chunk. The admin request returns instantly with a "queued" notice; syncing runs out-of-band. Falls back to inline (still batched) processing if Action Scheduler is unavailable.
- Batch
contacts.import— contacts are de-duplicated by email and imported in chunks via Notifuse's batch endpoint (subscribe_to_listsfor the opted-in bucket). 50 orders now take one or two API calls instead of fifty. - Same side effects — per-contact operation results stamp order meta (
synced_at/subscribed_at), fire thewoonotifuse_contact_synced/woonotifuse_lists_subscribedhooks, and surface failures as order notes, exactly like a single sync. Partial failures (contacts.importreturns 200 with per-contact errors) are mapped back per order.
Results appear in each order's notes and in WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

v0.4.1
Improve contact data accuracy.
Changes
- Order count now counts only paid orders (processing + completed) — matched by customer ID for registered users and billing email for guests. No longer inflated by drafts, pending or failed orders.
- Contacts send the full province/state name (e.g. "Barcelona") instead of the WooCommerce code ("B").
- The billing city is included in address line 2 (Notifuse has no city field).
v0.4.0
Unify order sync with Notifuse list subscription.
What's new
- Mailing lists: synced customers can be subscribed to Notifuse lists. A single paid-order sync calls
lists.subscribe(which also upserts the contact) when list IDs are configured, orcontacts.upsertotherwise. - GDPR consent checkbox at checkout (classic and block), optional and with configurable label. When enabled, only customers who tick it are subscribed.
- Settings reorganised into "Synchronization" and "Mailing lists" sections; removed the redundant standalone list-subscribe toggle.
Notes
- Requires WooCommerce 7.0+.
- Updates are delivered via the bundled Plugin Update Checker (GitHub releases mode).
