Summary

  • Add debt balance adjustments (interest/fees/charges/credits) with a dedicated audit trail
  • Debts UI now supports Adjust Balance without affecting bucket transactions
  • Credit card balances can exceed original amounts (mortgage rule unchanged)

Migration

No manual migration needed. The new debt_balance_adjustments table is created automatically on startup.

Why this matters

Interest, annual fees, and forgotten direct debits are lender-side changes. This keeps bucket reporting accurate while still tracking balance changes.
