πŸ“£ An important announcement

I have a good piece of news and a bad one. The bad one first: I will not develop this integration any further. And now the good one: the new alternative is TomTom - with blitzer.de's reports built in, of course, and with plenty of features on top:

The TomTom card in its three formats on a route in Atlanta: portrait and landscape with the travel time, the traffic delay, the traffic flow on the map and the jams and roadworks along the way, and the one-line minimal format

🚧 TomTom's own traffic reports. Jams, closed roads and lanes, roadworks, accidents, broken-down vehicles and the weather on the road - thirteen kinds, each switchable, with the stretch of road each report covers drawn on the map.

🌍 More than 70 countries. Not just Germany: most of Europe, the United States and Canada, much of Asia and the Middle East, Australia and more.

πŸ“· Two speed camera sources. blitzer.de, plus Lufop for France, Belgium, Switzerland and further countries.

🧭 Plan a route on the card. Start, stops and destination, the route and its reports on the map, then save it as a route entry.

πŸ“Š The free tier in sight. Request counters per API, and a repair plus a Quota at risk sensor before a month's free requests run out.

πŸ—£οΈ 30 languages instead of two.

TomTom installs through HACS as a custom repository for now; the submission to the HACS default list is under review. Blitzer.de keeps working as it is, but gets no new features.

πŸ› Fixed

πŸ“ Your blueprint stays yours. A Report Alerts blueprint you edited is no longer overwritten on start. An untouched copy still gets the new version when a release changes it.

πŸ“ Every report's pin stays on the map after a switch of entry. The map is fitted to the route and its reports together, with room for the pins.
