v1.0.2

@somansch somansch released this 25 Oct 22:16

📢 Police reports from blitzer.de. The traffic bulletins of the police that blitzer.de passes on, as a kind of their own - the road, the town and the whole bulletin, under a megaphone. On by default for every entry with blitzer.de switched on, and the Report Alerts blueprint can filter on them.

📷 No more missing speed cameras in a wide search. blitzer.de groups its cameras once a search is wider than about 10 km, and those groups were not fully resolved: a 12 km circle lost 2 of its 3 cameras, an 18 km one 14 of 52. Every one is found now, with the same number of requests.

🎨 The list wears the map's colours. The symbol at the start of a row has the colour of its marker on the map - dark red for a closed road, orange for roadworks, red for a jam, and the sources' red for every camera and police report.

🔢 The right decimal separator. A stretch's length follows your language in notifications - "1,2 km" in German - and your number format on the card.

📍 The NEW badge sits in the middle of its line.

🛠️ Two fixes from the HACS review.

📝 Your blueprint stays yours. A Report Alerts blueprint you edited is no longer overwritten on start. An untouched copy still gets the new version when a release changes it; an edited one is left alone, with a line in the log when a newer version ships.

🔒 Flow tiles: constant-time token check. The tile path compares its token with hmac.compare_digest and refuses everything while no token is set.

v1.0.0

@somansch somansch released this 24 Oct 21:57

👋 TomTom's traffic reports in Home Assistant. Jams, closed roads and lanes, roadworks, accidents and the weather on the road - for an area, a circle that follows a device tracker, or a route. Every report is a geo_location entity on the map, with its road, the stretch it covers and a ready-made one-line summary.

✨ What's in it

🚗 Live routes. Worked out again on every poll with the traffic of the moment: the fastest way right now, its travel time and delay as sensors, and the reports on exactly that way. The way back as a second entry, each with hours of its own.

🗺️ A dashboard card of its own. The reports as a list under a map, side by side, or one line with a pop-up; each report's stretch drawn on the road; a route's travel time large under the title, green, yellow or red by its delay. Comes with the integration and is set up entirely in the visual editor - no YAML, no card-mod.

🚦 Traffic flow on the map. TomTom's flow tiles over the card's map while it is on screen, served through the integration so the key never reaches the browser.

🧭 Plan a route on the card. Start, stops and destination, the route and its reports on the map, then save it as a route entry.

📷 Speed cameras from blitzer.de and Lufop. Optional further sources, off until you switch them on.

🔔 Report Alerts blueprint. A message for every new report, or a digest of everything standing - to your phone, the notification bell, a speaker or anything else. Installed with the integration.

📊 The free tier in sight. Request counters per API, and a repair plus the Quota at risk sensor before a month's free requests run out.

🌍 30 languages - AI-translated apart from English and German. Corrections are welcome as pull requests.

🚀 Getting started

  1. In HACS, add https://github.com/somansch/tomtom as a custom repository of type Integration, download TomTom and restart Home Assistant.
  2. Get a free key at developer.tomtom.com - no payment method needed.
  3. Settings → Devices & Services → Add Integration → TomTom, paste the key and add your first area or route.

Needs Home Assistant 2024.7 or newer. Polling hourly, an area uses about 720 of the 2,500 free Incident Details requests a month.
