What's new

Devvy V3 introduces privacy-safe, configurable Discord Rich Presence.

Privacy & presence controls

  • Configurable visibility for supported presence fields.
  • Final sanitization at the Discord boundary.
  • Activities are strictly allowlisted.
  • Model names use conservative model-family classification.
  • Project and file values are reduced to basenames.
  • Branch and dirty state are opt-in.
  • Disabled fields are omitted from the Discord payload.
  • OpenCode prompts, TODOs, session titles, commands, tool arguments, credentials, tokens, and arbitrary prose are never published.

VS Code

  • Active focused VS Code windows now take priority over active unfocused windows.
  • Existing arbitration, TTL, idle-hold, throttling, deduplication, reconnect, and shutdown behavior are preserved.
  • VS Code extension version is now 3.0.0.

Reliability

  • Added regression coverage for privacy filtering, malformed inputs, visibility configuration, focus arbitration, and final payload behavior.
  • Added GitHub Actions CI for daemon validation and VSIX packaging.
