ternux documents and productises a genuinely useful Debian/Xfce4 workstation on Android. The desktop runs in a PRoot container, displays through Termux:X11 and uses a GPU-backed Mesa path where the device supports it.
The public repository covers:

The complete Pro installer, deployment implementation and recovery runbook are private release materials. This repository does not publish the full installation recipe or host an unofficial installer endpoint.
- Everyday Linux: Xfce4, terminal, Git, editors, archives and light browsing
- Lightweight Blender: low-poly modelling, simple materials and modest scenes; author-reported as smooth enough to be useful on the tested Turnip-enabled device
- Local AI: Vulkan-enabled llama.cpp with compact 1–2B Q4 GGUF models as a practical phone-sized starting point
- Development: Node.js/npm and terminal-based coding assistants, subject to each provider's account and licence terms
- Defensive security lab: network discovery, packet analysis, web assessment and password auditing on systems you own or are authorised to test
This is still a phone. Heavy rendering, large simulations, oversized model contexts and sustained mining are poor fits because RAM, thermals and battery remain hard limits.

The abandoned Play Store build of Termux is not supported.

ternux Pro is in private development and is not yet on sale. It is designed as a verified, resumable and diagnosable deployment with curated workload profiles and version-matched private operator documentation.
There is no public installer URL today. Treat copied download links or commands claiming otherwise as untrusted. Watch this repository for the private beta and official release channel.
Security tools are documented for defensive work and controlled labs. Use them only on devices, applications and networks you own or have explicit permission to test. Android/PRoot does not provide unrestricted radio, monitor-mode or USB access.
Never publish licence keys, API tokens, model-provider credentials or private support bundles in an issue.
Corrections and device-specific observations are welcome—especially renderer evidence, known Android/OEM limitations and reproducible workload findings. See CONTRIBUTING.md.
Do not submit proprietary installer code, private endpoints, licence material or full Pro deployment procedures to this public repository.
Public documentation is MIT. ternux Pro, its installer and its private documentation are proprietary and separate.
