GPS preference startup fix - Saved GPS on/off state and update interval are now applied after GPS hardware initialization, so they persist reliably across restarts in both display and headless companion builds.
Sound-off persistence fix - A saved Sound: OFF preference is now preserved at boot; the L1 no longer re-enables the buzzer after power cycling.
Contact list and advert discovery fix - The UI now skips its internal anonymous-contact slots, eliminating blank, unusable contact rows. Newly received adverts are correctly treated as new contacts and saved reliably.
