Units

• A cast function forces one unit to be another, rather than converting it — 5 km cast to miles → 5 mi, where 5 km in miles still gives 3.1 mi
• Smarter behaviour when dividing a rate by a quantity — $500/month / 30 days → $16.67/day
• Angles in hours, minutes and seconds — 12h 30m in degrees → 187.5°, and 90 degrees in hours → 6h 0m 0s

Inflation

• Inflation is now calculated in an amount's own currency (rather than always USD)
• The engine can be supplied with month-by-month index figures through a new InflationDataProvider

Time Zones

• time in X when it is Y in Z — time in Tokyo when it is 9am in London → 5:00 pm
• Monday 9am Delhi in nyc → 11:30 pm

Other

• Moon phase is now computed locally, so it needs no network access — moon phase → Waxing Gibbous
• Hanukkah is supported as a cultural date event — Hanukkah 2026 → 4 December
