Voxden 2.1.5 brings a new logo, a new flow bar and a redesigned dashboard, and a dictation that fails no longer takes your voice with it.

• Voxden has a new logo. The new V is on the taskbar, the tray, the installer and the title bar.
• Island is the new flow bar, and the default: one black capsule that rests as a small pill and opens on hover into settings, the microphone and screenshot capture. Drag the bar itself to move it. Classic and Ribbon are retired and switch to Island, and Orb stays in Settings → Display.
• The Dictation page puts your recent dictations first. Beside them sit a week card with your words for each day, your voice profile as a ring, and your speaking pace. Search is a round button, and Ctrl+F opens it on Dictation and Dictionary.
• The rest of the dashboard has a look of its own in both themes. Milestones on Insights sit on a bookshelf, the Writing style preferences are one list, and the Dictionary shows a learned correction in action. The White theme keeps the dark title bar and sidebar, and cloud credits read as time left.
• Help → Feedback or bug report is redesigned: choose the kind of message, see the app details that go with it, and send.
• The window opens at 1200 × 780, the size the dashboard is designed for, or smaller on a smaller screen.
• A dictation that fails to become text keeps its recording. It waits on the Dictation page under Not transcribed for 14 days, and Recover turns it into text with the speech engine you use now.
• That covers a recording Voxden heard as silence, one made before a speech engine was set up, and a dictation cut off by a crash or a power cut: recordings longer than five seconds are saved as you talk and come back the next time Voxden starts. Recovered words go to your history and your clipboard. All of it follows Keep recordings in Settings → Data and privacy, which is on unless you turned it off.
• When Voxden Cloud is too busy to answer, your dictation is transcribed by the speech model on your PC instead of failing, if you have one installed. The flow bar says "Cloud busy. Using this PC…" while it switches.

Voxden 2.1.4 puts Voxden Pro on sale outside India.

• Voxden Pro is now $8 a month everywhere outside India, charged through Razorpay by international card. Plans and billing shows the price for the region your account was first signed in from, and Pro is the same everywhere: no weekly word limit, Voxden Cloud, 900 cloud credits a month with 1,200 in your first month. Cancel renewal any time from Plans and billing, and Pro keeps working to the end of the period you have paid for.
• In the EU, the UK, Monaco and the Isle of Man, Pro is not sold yet. The Free plan is complete and unrestricted there, as everywhere.
• India is unchanged: ₹349 a month, with UPI, cards and net banking.
• Corrections you make right after a dictation are learned more reliably in apps that give their text fields no name of their own.

Voxden 2.1.3

Voxden 2.1.3 is the release that gives Voxden an account, and with it Voxden Cloud and Voxden Pro. Everything that made Voxden work offline still works offline, on the same PC, for nothing.

• Sign in once, with Google or a six-digit code sent to your email. Your plan follows the account, so Pro works on every Windows PC you sign in on. Your dictation, your history and your dictionary still live on your own PC.
• Voxden Cloud comes with Pro. A cloud speech model handles names, accents and noisy rooms far better than one running on your own PC, understands 60 languages, needs no speech model downloaded, and lets you dictate in up to three languages at once.
• Hindi is written in Devanagari, or choose Hinglish and it is written in the Latin script most people actually type in.
• Voxden Pro is ₹349 a month in India, charged through Razorpay, with UPI, cards and net banking. It removes the weekly word limit on your PC and includes 900 cloud credits a month, about 15 hours of cloud dictation. Your first month carries 1,200 credits instead, about 20 hours. • Choose White or the original Voxden theme in Settings → Display. Your choice is saved, switches immediately and leaves the floating dictation bar in its chosen style. Pro and Voxden Cloud accents stay gold in both themes.
• General and System settings are easier to scan. Display now holds app themes, flow bar styles and motion preferences, while microphone, languages and dictation controls stay together in General.
• The dictation dashboard has floating app icons, clearer speaking pace and time saved, and a steady voice profile card. Icons keep moving smoothly during sidebar resizing, and opening Settings dims the whole workspace in both themes.
• Longer cloud dictations recover from interrupted segments more reliably. Segment boundaries preserve complete words, and failed transcriptions keep the recording available for retry.
• Help → What's new opens the changelog on voxden.app.

Voxden 2.1.1 adds Auto cleanup, polished flow bar controls and smoother everyday use.

• ✨ Enable Auto cleanup in Writing style to fix common English grammar and punctuation mistakes while keeping your selected tone. No extra model download. It starts off and pauses in Verbatim mode.
• 🎙️ The hover controls keep the microphone in the center, with Settings and the drag handle at the sides and screenshot capture above. Classic, Ribbon and Orb keep their buttons responsive while you move between controls.
• 🛠️ Recording and transcription recover more reliably from slow startup, microphone interruptions and stalled drawing. Settings changes preserve result editing, and the app can still be moved by its title bar while Settings is open.
• 🎞️ Choose Follow Windows, On or Reduced in System settings to control animations for the flow bar and its previews. Voxden explains when Windows Animation effects are off.
• 🚀 The dashboard avoids unnecessary work in the background, Orb drawing is lighter, and speech-engine CPU workers sleep between jobs. Smaller laptops use a CPU worker budget suited to their processor count.

Voxden 2.1.0

A more polished Voxden, with expressive flow bars, screenshot dictation and a dictionary that learns from your corrections. Everything new since 1.0.22.

• ✨ Dictation, Dictionary, Writing style and Insights have cleaner layouts, subtle green accents and smoother transitions. Settings has polished icons, and the home robot floats, blinks and responds to your pointer.
• 🫧 Choose your flow bar in Settings. Orb reacts to your voice with energy pulses and glow, then becomes a rotating generation star while transcribing. Smoother microphone transitions and compact finish and discard controls keep the interaction calm. Classic and Ribbon are available too.
• 📸 Select a screen region, mark it with Circle, Arrow, Pen or Hide, and speak while annotating. Voxden pastes your words and marked screenshot into an app that accepts images. Capture never sends the message automatically.
• 📖 Correct a recently dictated word in a supported Windows text field and Voxden can learn its spelling locally. The flow bar offers Undo. Auto-add to dictionary can be turned off in General settings.
• ⚡ Qwen CUDA acceleration downloads are now 1.88–2.10 GB, depending on reusable support files. The complete runtime is preserved, with no manual Python or pip setup. Verified GPU installations can also reclaim eligible leftover download files. This reduces download size; the installed GPU runtime remains about 5.34 GB.
• 🛡️ Cancelled retries cannot paste later or overwrite newer edits. History saves have recovery copies, clipboard handling preserves newer copies, and retention settings also cover retry audio. Cleanup better preserves other languages, addresses, numbers and line breaks.
• 🪟 Setup uses the approved Voxden logo, sharp text that scales with Windows display settings, and a Made by Sounak credit on the finish page. The app title bar uses the same logo with a larger wordmark.
• 🔔 The bell now shows the 2.1.0 highlights, including if you already tried an earlier local build. Read and dismissed announcements stay that way across restarts.
• 🔧 More fixes across microphone startup, playback, speech setup, update recovery and privacy deletion. History now retains entries beyond the former 400-entry limit. Verbatim mode preserves valid sign-offs, formal style keeps ambiguous contractions, and media restoration uses only confirmed pause and mute operations.
• 📦 If you already installed an earlier local 2.1.0 build, run this installer manually once. Automatic updates from 1.0.22 work normally; the updater only offers a higher version number.

Voxden 1.0.22

A quieter desktop while you dictate, with cleaner window controls.

• 🔇 Calls, videos, games and other playback now go quiet while your microphone is open, including voices in apps such as Discord. Music players with media controls are paused as before.
• 🎵 Voxden restores only the audio it changed. Anything you had already muted or paused stays that way, including after a cancellation or failed dictation.
• 🪟 Minimize, maximize and close now blend into the Voxden title bar instead of sitting inside a darker rectangle.

Voxden 1.0.21

A new Insights page and a flow bar that heals itself.

• 📈 Insights, rebuilt. Milestones are now read year by year, with the date you cleared each one, and the apps you dictate into are ranked as a leaderboard with a direction against the period before. The page opens with a short reveal and stays quiet after that.
• 🤖 The Voxden mascot now lives on Insights too, brightening as your milestones and voice profile progress.
• 🛠️ The flow bar comes back on its own if it ever stops responding, back where you left it. Waking from sleep or unlocking the PC re-arms it as well.
• 🎙️ A microphone that never starts no longer holds the app in "arming": after ten seconds the attempt ends with a clear message and the next press works.
• 🤫 Silent recordings no longer produce stray text. A recording with no speech in it is dropped before it reaches the engine.
• ⏹️ The flow bar's controls say what they do: a stop square while recording, a retry arrow after a result, instead of one tick for both.
• 🔍 A diagnostic log for the flow bar, so a report of "it froze" can be told apart from "the app froze".

• 🎯 The flow bar no longer gets stuck open. On some PCs it could stay in its expanded hover state after being moved; it now settles back on its own.
• 📊 Speaking pace reads right from day one. A couple of very short or clipped recordings could push a new install's words-per-minute to an impossible figure — pace now ignores readings too brief to measure.
• 🧭 Cleaner Settings. The description under each setting is shorter and easier to scan, and labels line up with their controls.
• ✨ The title bar now shows the real Voxden app icon.
• 🔧 Various bug fixes.

Simpler settings, saved recordings, and a smoother start. This update includes everything since 1.0.18.

• 🎙️ Each dictation keeps its recording for 14 days. Open the ⋯ menu to play it, save a WAV, or run it through the engine again. Saved files use the time you export them. Turn this off, or clear saved audio, under Data and privacy.
• ⚙️ General is just you: name, shortcuts, microphone, and language. Engines, downloads, and acceleration now live under Speech engines.
• 🚀 Startup is smoother. The pointer no longer stutters when Voxden opens, and engines load in the background without locking the PC.
• 🔔 Update progress shows under the bell, then Restart now when the download is ready.
• 🧹 Local sentence correction and its language packs are gone. Built-in cleanup still handles fillers and punctuation. If an old pack is still on this PC, 1.0.19 removes it.
• 🔧 Various bug fixes.
