Hot Spotter 0.75.0 — licensing, per-album leniency, Track Details first.

Licensing

• Scan 20 tracks for free. After that, one $20 key unlocks unlimited scanning on up to three computers.
• Unlock… window: reachable from the drop zone, the Analyze menu, the pre-scan allowance dialog, and the app menu (License…). Enter a key to activate; Deactivate frees the seat.
• The app checks in with the store only when you activate or deactivate. Once unlocked it never phones home.

Leniency per album

• The leniency slider is remembered per album, so each record keeps its own setting.

Views & menus

• Track Details is the view you land in after a scan. The album view is now called Overview.
• Keyboard shortcuts on the Playback and Spots menu items; Play/Pause follows the transport.
• New menu items: Show Album in Finder, Clear All History…, Send Feedback…
• Settings popover trimmed: the diverging-bars and tonal-tilt controls live on their graphs.

App

• Window size and position are remembered between launches.
• A local rotating log file; Send Feedback… points at it.
• Dismissable Quick Start pointer on the empty state.
• Complete third-party notices.

Fixes

• Cancelling a scan now stops mid-track instead of after the current file.
• Finder metadata files (._name.wav) are skipped when collecting audio.
• History recovered from its backup is written back to the primary file; Clear History keeps dismissal-only entries.
• The empty-import toast names the supported formats and the usual causes.

Requirements

• macOS 13 Ventura or later (Apple Silicon and Intel). App data migrates automatically to the new bundle identifier on first launch.

Playback

• Full-width bottom playbar with a scrubber, elapsed/total time, and a tri-state loop (off → all → one).
• Album playthrough is always on; trimmed tracks start at their In point and loop the trimmed region.

Trim

• Drag the In/Out handles and the track re-measures on release — no Re-measure button.
• Live mm:ss.s readout under the handle, landing roll on the numbers, "Trim markers affect playback" preference.

Spots (formerly Pins)

• Renamed throughout. Per-track open-spot counts on the tracklist and in the view switcher.
• Spot Report: cleaner rows, sliding delete, bullet-style Copy Text / Export Text.

Tracklist & header

• Uniform, breathing columns; Tracklist Options menu with drag-to-reorder fields and a Waveforms row.
• Redesigned header: one-line verdict, alerts chip with a hover/pin popover, leniency slider with a single live tip.
• Row waveforms wipe in left-to-right when they return.

Saved reports

• A saved report carries its own Album / Track / Spots strip and judges the leniency slider locally.
• Save Report… goes straight to the native save panel; "Show in Finder" on saved-file toasts.

Housekeeping

• Squash overlay retired. Debug slow-motion shortcut removed.
• "Files couldn't be read" banner: dismiss ✕ pinned top-right.
