Learn about vigilant mode.
  • New View mode setting: Sidebar (default) or Popup. Switch from the button next to the gear, or under Settings → View mode. The choice syncs with your Chrome profile.
  • Sidebar mode (introduced in v1.2.0): the extension opens in Chrome's side panel and stays open while you switch tabs. The file dialog works on every platform, including macOS Chrome 152+, where a Chrome regression closes popups when the file dialog opens.
  • Popup mode brings back the classic popup. The dropzone there is drag & drop only. Click it once for a hint; click again to switch to the sidebar if you need the file dialog.
  • Settings → Reset no longer changes the view mode.
  • Header buttons now show tooltips on hover.
