Description
As was mentioned in a comment on my contribution of hardware quirks in PR #76, disabling of all external IR emitter activation tools and powercycling the laptop/camera to reset control bytes is a good practice to prevent contributing a non-working quirk. I think it could be worth recommending it as an optional additional test step to take before submission of a new hardware quirk.
