Togo: concretizer hang
- Peter: good details include
  - The environment
  - Output running spack -d
- (we did not get to the bottom of this: the below issue was in the way of reproducing this)
Togo: issue updating Spack on Cray (swapping platform from cray to Linux)
- Do you have preexisting installs?
  - Yes and they want to keep them
- Peter: I think we swapped this in https://github.com/spack/spack/pull/29392
- Togo: can we rename folders?
  - Peter: That can cause trouble since there are lots of references to the prefixes, including RPATHs etc.
  - Pariksheet: during an update, there was a concretization issue related to platform name changes
    - linux-ubuntu-... the last part changed in some update
      - was called something other than zen2
- Togo: config:host_compatible useful?
  - Peter: unlikely: your issue is with platform, and target is finer-grained
- Peter: is there a way to tell Spack what platform we're on?
  - I thought there was something like SPACK_ARCH but I can't find that for example
- Peter: let's look at config: how are you telling Spack to reuse the older Cray?
- Peter: also let's see the error message with spack -d
