Smileys #158
|
The example of "smileys" in "Whetting your appetite" shows a 9 x 9 grid of smileys. When I run the code there is a 4 x 3 grid. What are the expected document settings? This is Inkscape 4.1.2 on Windows 10. |

Well, the wiki text does say, "The following example fills the page with smiley faces…", and the number and layout of smileys indeed is a function of page size and shape. I don't remember what page size I used, and I may even have selected a size specifically to fit a 9×9 grid of smileys for the purpose of producing a nice-looking image layout for the documentation. It probably doesn't much matter, but I've set my default page size to a landscape 1024×768 pixels with a scale of 1.0. That's a convenient size for an unrelated project of mine: creating autostereograms (not all of which are drawn in Inkscape, though). |
