What's new in v0.10.1
You can see when your phone has paired. Setting up phone access meant showing the QR code, scanning it, and then guessing — the desktop looked exactly the same whether it had worked or not. Now a green light reading Paired successfully appears on the pairing screen the moment your phone first connects.
It turns on only for a phone that used the real code, so it's a genuine confirmation rather than a sign that something merely reached the app. It tells you a phone has paired since you switched phone access on — not that it's connected this second — and it resets when you turn phone access off.
Nothing else changed, and nothing about how phone access works has changed: it's still off by default, still reachable only over your own Tailscale tailnet, and still requires the paired code on every request.

Existing installs update themselves — you'll be offered Install & restart on next launch.
First launch
The installers aren't code-signed yet, so the OS will warn on first run:
- Windows — SmartScreen: More info → Run anyway.
- macOS — Gatekeeper: right-click the app → Open (or System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway).
- Linux — make the
.AppImageexecutable (chmod +x) and run it, or install the.deb/.rpm.
The .sig files, Field.Notes_universal.app.tar.gz, and latest.json are used by the in-app auto-updater — you don't need to download them.
