SuperSTAC v0.3.0 — GeoParquet inventories

Build your satellite-data inventory. Search it again and again.
Save STAC metadata for your study area to GeoParquet and reuse it across searches, reducing repeated API requests. Automatic mode falls back to live APIs when your inventory is stale or does not cover the query.

SuperSTAC 0.2.0

SuperSTAC 0.2.0 brings the Rust engine to Python and adds the documentation site.

• Python: synchronous Client, AsyncClient, dictionary results, configuration, discovery, and search metadata.
• Native wheels for Linux x86-64/ARM64, macOS Intel/Apple Silicon, and Windows x86-64, plus a source distribution. Requires CPython 3.9+; Linux wheels require glibc 2.28+.
• Rust: all five published crates advance together to 0.2.0.
• Documentation: https://spatialnode.com/superstac
• Fixes: Python configuration imports, search iteration, and type hints.

Upgrading from the old Python package

This replaces the 0.1.0a2 Python implementation and is a breaking migration. Import Client or AsyncClient from superstac. Search results are dictionaries, matched() counts returned items, and to_geojson() exports a FeatureCollection. SuperSTAC does not implement the full pystac-client API or custom authentication hooks.

Packages are available on PyPI and crates.io. Install Python with pip install --upgrade superstac==0.2.0, or the CLI with cargo install superstac-cli --version 0.2.0.
