Release list
spekterm 0.2.1
The first public release of spekterm — an agent-first local development workbench that hosts one
Claude Code session per repository in a single window, next to an
OpenSpec-aware side panel.
What's in it
- Workspace shell — multiple folders in one window, drag to reorder, pin, and a global session
that isn't tied to any repo. - Terminals — real
node-ptysessions with WebGL rendering. Sessions survive an app restart:
Claude Code sessions resume their conversation, shells come back in their last directory with
their screen replayed. - OpenSpec side panel — changes, specs, and artifacts for the repo you're working in, including
changes that live in git worktrees; graph and timeline views; quick open (Ctrl+P). - Agent conversation view — an alternative to the terminal view, built from Claude Code's own
transcripts (never by scraping the screen). - Inbox and handoffs — agents can hand work off to another repo in your workspace; Slack
mentions can arrive as inbox items you review before anything runs. - Keyboard-first — see the shortcut table in the README.
Install
Requires Linux x64 with libfuse2, and Claude Code (claude on your PATH) for agent sessions.
chmod +x Spekterm-0.2.1.AppImage
./Spekterm-0.2.1.AppImageTo add it to your applications menu, build from source and run npm run install:desktop (see the
README).
Known limitations
- Linux only. No macOS or Windows builds, no auto-update, and the AppImage is not signed.
- Quick open can list an in-repo git worktree as if it were a file (#55).
