Run diagnostics in the agent report

• Adds the RunDiagnostics schema family so performance hints, post-run timing, and persistence status travel with a run instead of being lost when the plugin owns stdout (#544).

• RunDiagnostics carries performanceHints (kinds environment, import, transform, isolate), optional postRun timing (persistMs, coverageScanMs, totalMs), and optional persistence status

• RunReportFile (run.json) gains an optional runDiagnostics field; schemaVersion stays 1, and the published schemas/5.0/run.json is updated

• ReporterRenderInput gains an optional runDiagnostics so custom reporters can render the same data

• New suggestedActionsFromRunDiagnostics() maps diagnostics to suggested actions: a persistence failure ("Results were not saved"), slow post-run work, then one info action per hint

• New isPostRunSlow() and the POST_RUN_SLOW_MS, POST_RUN_SLOW_SHARE, and POST_RUN_SLOW_MIN_MS constants define "slow" (5s total, or at least 1s and 10% of Vitest's duration) #657

Breaking Changes

• Removed the WalkerFileSystem, WalkerEntry, WalkerEntryStat and nodeWalkerFs exports. The filesystem port for discovery is now WalkerSyncOps from @effected/walker, exported as a type from this package. Custom discovery strategies and tests that injected a WalkerFileSystem must supply WalkerSyncOps instead.
• Discovery now follows symlinked directories and files, which the former walker skipped, so a linked test directory is collected. A link back to an ancestor directory is skipped by the walker's cycle guard.
• runScript no longer skips a command because an earlier process finished it within the last 30 seconds. Set VITEST_AGENT_RUNSCRIPT_BUILT_RECENTLY_MS to opt back into that window.
• The @vitest/coverage-v8 and @vitest/coverage-istanbul peers are now optional, so installing only the provider you use no longer warns.

Features

Run diagnostics survive the agent reporter

• AgentPlugin strips Vitest's own reporter when it owns stdout, which silently dropped Vitest's performance hints. The plugin now ports those hints and reports them itself (#544).

• Performance hints (environment, import, transform, isolate) are computed in every console mode and flow into run.json and run_tests; they are suppressed in watch mode, blob merges, and when Vitest's diagnostics flag turns them off

• Hints are printed to the console as suggested actions only in agent mode and in stream mode (after the live view closes); in ci-annotations mode they reach only run.json and run_tests, and in passthrough mode Vitest prints its own

• In multi-project runs, only the primary (coverage-owning) reporter publishes run-level diagnostics

• Post-run timing (persist, coverage scan, total) is always recorded in the report and shown on the console only when the run was slow

• A failed persistence is recorded in the report so it can be surfaced as an action instead of failing silently

Failure summary on stderr

• When a run fails or is interrupted in agent, stream, or ci-annotations mode, the plugin writes a short plain-text failure summary to stderr (at most 15 lines, with a "... N more" tail). Because it is the plugin's last stderr write, Vitest's own vitest doctor now reports the real cause of a failing trial run instead of "no error output". In stream mode the summary prints above the live view. In agent mode it repeats the stdout failure list on stderr, a deliberate trade so callers that discard stdout still see the cause. A silent console config still produces no output. #657

Bug Fixes

• Test globs are matched with GlobPattern, so brace patterns such as {a,b} now match correctly.
• runScript runs through RunOnce.commandSync and, on Windows, spawns cmd.exe /d /s /c "<cmd>" verbatim so quoting is preserved. #659
