Fixes
- Support Spotify 1.3 client startup, including the
rspackChunkglobal used by Spotify 1.3.0.277. Fixes missing Spicetify features caused by capture timeouts. (#3934, #3935) - Keep native menus usable before React and menu context are ready, without changing Spotify's hook order as capture completes. (#3938, #3936)
- Restrict one-step Update & Apply to verified macOS clients, require explicit daemon and updater capabilities, and bound recovery when the update block cannot be restored. Read macOS version information from the app bundle before cached Spotlight metadata. (#3933)
Validation
The menu fix was live-tested on macOS with Spotify 1.2.97, including native and Spicetify menu entries, keyboard navigation, submenus, and relaunch. Windows has automated CI coverage but has not been live-tested for this release.
Upgrade
Run spicetify self-update, then spicetify apply to install the updated client payload. Spotify will restart.
