Fixes

• Permanent SMTP errors (wrong credentials, rejected sender) no longer retry: the email is marked as failed and the owner and administrators get a bell notice with the reason.

New

• "Send test email" button in Security › Email for the server SMTP, showing the exact error (SMTP user and password masked).
• Safer setup scripts: they warn about quotes or spaces around the SMTP password and default the sender to the SMTP user.

Upgrading
Back up first, then download the new bundle over your spiderfolio folder (your .env is kept) and run docker compose pull and docker compose up -d. This version adds a database migration, applied automatically on start.

• Empty environment values: empty S3_* lines in .env no longer stop the API from starting with STORAGE_DRIVER=local. A .env copied from .env.example now works as is.
• DOMAIN is only required with the https profile.

• Setup scripts (setup.ps1 for Windows, setup.sh for Linux): they ask the minimum, generate the secrets and write .env.
• mail profile: Mailpit as a test inbox (http://localhost:8025), to try SpiderFolio without an email server.
