Fleetlight Linux now shows installed and available Codex CLI and ChatGPT versions with update buttons, including remote Apple Silicon Macs.

  • Native standalone, npm and mise CLI updates; verified macOS application updates and supported Linux package updates.
  • Durable background jobs with progress, version verification and reconnection recovery.
  • Modified ChatGPT packages remain protected. Arch application updates require a confirmed full system upgrade.
  • Optional service preferences prevent intentionally stopped or absent services from raising warnings.

Validation: 24 tests, native GTK smoke test on Omarchy, Ubuntu CI, and current-version CLI/ChatGPT jobs from Linux to two Macs. No newer application releases were available for live replacement testing.

Install or update: extract the source, close Fleetlight, and run bash scripts/install.sh. Existing private configuration is preserved. See README for dependencies and updater behavior.
