Change styling on Split admin panel

We'd like to change the styling on our Production version of the Split panel to avoid accidental resets of data, etc (as to differentiate the Production version from Staging, Development, etc). I think this would be easy enough; checking the environment and then overriding CSS accordingly.

However, taking a shot in the dark at app/assets/stylesheets/split/style.css didn't help; does one need to use the full lib directory (lib/split/dashboard/public), or are there any hooks in place to use the assets folder for adding on CSS?

There are no hooks at the moment but that would be a nice feature to have, to be able to add in an link to an extra stylesheet if you fancied trying your hand at adding that I'd be happy to merge it in.
