Completes the v0.4.0 milestone — Parity & hardening. Pre-1.0 minor bump.

Added

  • Lifecycle-hook tag emit + --on-idle (#25) — emit the spawn:* tags a real spored honors on the instance (pre-stop, spot-webhook, notify, active-processes); --on-idle stop|hibernate as the modern spelling of --hibernate-on-idle.
  • Optional spored signature verification (#26) — opt-in EC2Provider sporedSigningPublicKey adds a fail-closed openssl signature check to the bootstrap before install (authenticity, not just the SHA256 integrity check). Default stays checksum-only, matching the Go tool.
  • spawn-ts ↔ truffle-ts integration guide (#29) — docs/integration.md.
  • Gated live smoke test (#27) — a workflow_dispatch-only regression guard for the self-termination guarantee (which regressed silently once, #19). A zero-credential substrate tier (SUBSTRATE_REQUIRED=1, no false greens) and an opt-in real-aws tier that launches one t4g.nano via GitHub OIDC and observes spored self-terminate. Never runs on push/PR.

  • spawn:hibernate-on-idle is now emitted only when true (matches the Go tool; an absent tag means the default idle action).
