Freeze export and pull from grid if energy is negatively priced? part 2 (Now with debug and logs) #4868

Hi again, As there is a negatively priced time period tomorrow, I was in a position to see what predbat thought about that. Like before, Predbat currently doesn't treat the negative area with enough foresight to freeze export so that some money can be drawn from the grid. It's only a small delta, but I feel predbat should be able to calculate this 4p difference (maybe?). I've attached the debug and logs - hopefully the right ones. Debug Logfile |

Thanks for raising, I will convert this to a Github issue so that it can be triaged properly As a guess, it may be that the 4p difference between the default plan and the micromanaged one is simply not 'better enough' than the default plan for Predbat to select it |

Currently predbat doesn't do this kind of optimisation. Would need to be enhanced
