• Avoids the mpv 0.41 CoreAudio planar-float initialization path associated with macOS 27 audio-device hot-plug crashes.
• Retries transient playback preparation and catalog failures once, while leaving deterministic configuration and authorization failures untouched.
• Records recoverable remote-stream, MPV, and live-refresh failures as privacy-filtered breadcrumbs; an Issue is created only after recovery is exhausted.
• Adds stable numeric stage, retry, HTTP, network, drive-provider, and route dimensions so future failures remain diagnosable without sending URLs, credentials, media names, or raw error text.
