Installation Guide

📋 Requirements

• Server Software: Paper or Spigot
• Minecraft Version: 1.21 or newer (1.21+)

• Download from Modrinth or GitHub Releases → Always download the latest release.

🚀 Installation Steps

1. Stop Your Server

Completely stop your Minecraft server before proceeding.

2. Install the Plugin

Place the downloaded SpectatorPlusPlus.jar file into your server's plugins/ folder.

3. Start Your Server

Start your server to generate the configuration files. Check the console for any startup messages.

4. Set Spectator Lobby (IMPORTANT)

Before players can use the plugin, you must set the spectator lobby location: /spectator lobby set

This command sets your current position as the return point for players leaving spectator mode.

🔐 Permissions Setup

By default, only server operators (OPs) can use SpectatorPlusPlus.

To allow regular players to use the plugin, grant them the following permission:

• Main permission: spectatorplusplus.use
• Admin permission (optional): spectatorplusplus.admin

⚠️ Important Notes

• Always back up your server before installing or updating plugins

• Read the changelog before updating to be aware of any changes

• The spectator lobby must be set before players can use the plugin

• Regular players require explicit permission to use the plugin
