Lerience 0.0.7

This release restores Codex connection checks on macOS and makes desktop update checks more
reliable after reopening the app.

Changed

  • Connect to installed Codex 0.148.0 and other newer versions through the documented stable App
    Server handshake instead of rejecting every version newer than 0.144.6.
  • Keep the safe minimum Codex version check and fail closed if the real handshake or account
    response is malformed.
  • Replace the misleading App update needed provider status with an honest compatibility message
    when a connection genuinely cannot be validated.
  • Resume signed update checks when Lerience is reopened on macOS, including after the app previously
    closed all of its windows.

Known limitations

  • The desktop packages do not yet carry trusted operating-system signatures. Windows may show an
    unknown-publisher or SmartScreen warning. On macOS, the first launch must be approved under
    System Settings > Privacy & Security.
  • macOS uses separate Apple Silicon and Intel downloads. Both native packages are built and checked
    independently before publication.
  • Provider compatibility depends on the stable interfaces exposed by the provider-owned clients.
