t-flppr-fw-089-039
Stable Tumoflip release based on Unleashed 089. Report regressions in Issues.
Stable revision
- Desktop now keeps a bounded compressed animation preview while returning from
external FAPs and aligns the handoff to the full animation loaded from SD. - The preview cache is limited to 4 KiB and does not retain the full wallpaper
while an external app is running. - No public API changes; firmware API remains
88.0.
Automated release assets
This release was built by the release workflow from tag v0.3.9 at commit
6840f8069518d23db700e1ca0715f767686f15da. The workflow ran the firmware
build, release tests, validate_release.py --write-manifest, and published the
firmware plus SD package assets from the same build.

Final dev-037 release candidate
This build rolls the accepted TumoSurvey RSSI Locator and layout fixes into a clean release candidate before stable 037 promotion.
Included
- RSSI Locator uses the Module One 1.13.0-compatible scan-all workflow;
- TumoSurvey About metadata matches the installed application version;
- TumoSurvey views keep content and action buttons separated on the Flipper display;
- complete API 88.0 firmware and FW Packages bundle.
Validation
- source commit:
e213f38d0; - installed device metadata:
t-dev-089-037-058,dirty=false, API88.0; - 63 release tests passed locally;
- PR and dev branch CI passed;
- updater/package validator passed;
- C2 section gap: 31,716 bytes;
- packaged WiFi Mapper SHA-256 matches the FAP installed by the updater;
- RSSI Locator hardware acceptance completed.
Notes
The firmware updater installs flash and resource content. Install FW Packages through Unleashed Companion as a separate transaction to refresh /ext/.tumoflip/package-state.txt and record rollback metadata.
This remains a prerelease. Stable v0.3.7 requires the final stable branding/package promotion and a stable hardware smoke.

TumoSpectrum Phase B
This dev build turns the capture-set workflow into a practical signal research path.
Added
- bounded candidate decode for up to 96 bits from pulse-pair, PWM and PPM timing families;
- stable, changing and unknown bit-field maps across 3-4 RAW captures;
- exact increment/decrement counter candidates;
- bounded XOR-8, SUM-8, CRC-8/0x07 and CRC-8/0x31 candidates;
- backward-compatible capture-set profiles and enriched schema-2 reports;
- explicit stock Sub-GHz/Infrared handoff for Static-like source captures only.
Safety
- TumoSpectrum never transmits directly;
- no brute force or rolling-code bypass;
- inferred fields remain labeled candidates.
Validation
- clean source commit: bb0cdf6;
- firmware API: 88.0;
- updater/package validator passed;
- C2 section gap: 31,732 bytes;
- firmware host tests: 12 passed;
- Companion schema tests: 11 passed;
- hardware acceptance: pending.
Companion 1.6.22 adds the candidate bit-field visualization. Back up important files before installing this experimental build.
t-dev-089-037-056
TumoSpectrum 2.0
- opens the stock Sub-GHz RAW and Infrared RAW capture flows directly and returns to TumoSpectrum after exit
- adds bounded capture sets with 3-4 distinct RAW recordings
- estimates timing clusters, encoding candidates, and static-like versus changing behavior
- stores schema-2 JSON reports for Unleashed Companion 1.6.21 charts
- preserves existing schema-1 reports, app identity, saved files, and read-only safety boundaries
Release checks
- exact source:
d70e7a45d - metadata:
BUILD_DIRTY 0 - firmware API:
88.0 - C2 gap:
31732bytes - updater:
119241bytes - full F7 build, APPCHK, 23 focused tests, and release validator passed
Hardware acceptance
Not yet complete. Validate stock RAW capture handoff/return, a real 3-sample set, report transfer to Companion 1.6.21, and all Back paths before closing issue #123.
Back up important SD data before updating. tumoflip-packages.zip is the SD package for Companion; firmware uses the updater archive.

TumoSurvey Inspector
This dev build turns the existing TumoSurvey workflow into a repeatable site-inspection tool. A completed session can be pinned as a baseline, later sessions show exact bounded New/Gone/Changed AP entries by BSSID, and a selected current AP can be located with passive live RSSI, peak signal, and warmer/colder trend.
Compatibility and safety
- firmware API:
88.0 - preserves
appid=wifi_mapper, existing CSV/GeoJSON paths, standard scan modes, and Companion live relay - uses only passive Module One
scanap/stopscan; no deauth, injection, or credential capture - bounded to 32 APs per snapshot and explicitly reports partial comparisons
- invalid or AP-empty sessions cannot be pinned
Automated checks
- focused TumoSurvey tests: 9/9
- FAP APPCHK: passed
- compact updater build: passed
- release validator: C2 gap
31,852bytes; updater119,241bytes; API88.0 - package release ID:
f7f986e515e40bdd36e7180c4c3f98446a7d7c13d7cd01adc4983a4532472902 - package groups:
arf=13,base=7,module_one=34,protocol_packs=30
Hardware validation
Status: not yet run for this exact build. Required checks are tracked in issue #120: baseline persistence, exact AP comparison, selected-BSSID Locator, repeated Start/Stop/Back, ordinary scan modes, and Companion live relay.
Back up important /int and SD data before flashing.
t-dev-089-037-054
Changes
- Polished ARF Frequency Analyzer history: empty slots no longer repeat MHz.
- Removed the overlapping feedback-mode glyph while retaining feedback behavior.
- Preserved Preset Scan and the direct Scan -> RX handoff introduced in 053.
- Hardened the release drift gate so ARF Preset Scan remains an explicit profile extension while notebook storage stays shared with core Sub-GHz.
Validation
- Firmware API 88.0
- Branch dev, commit 228a532, dirty=false
- 19 focused tests and all 63 release tests passed
- F7 CI and updater validation passed
- C2 section gap: 31,852 bytes
- Package release ID: e65b557945e8df09b2e6d423b5f041a93f42b5fd3bc8e026227d3bc5aef72a93
This is an experimental dev build. Hardware acceptance is limited to the ARF Frequency Analyzer workflow tracked in issue #116.
t-dev-089-037-053
Changes
- Added receive-only Preset Scan to ARF Frequency Analyzer.
- Added ranked modulation preset results and direct handoff to the system Sub-GHz Receiver.
- Fixed
Scan -> RXbeing parsed as a.subfile (cannot parse file).
Validation
- Firmware API 88.0
- Branch
dev, commit22cdf5d3, dirty=false - 34 focused tests passed
- F7 CI and release validation passed
- C2 gap: 31,852 bytes
This is an experimental dev build. Hardware acceptance for issue #116 remains open.
t-dev-089-037-052
TumoSpectrum Compare UI
Makes RAW capture comparison visible and directly actionable in TumoSpectrum. The final RAW analysis page now shows a real Compare soft button that opens the second-capture picker. Decoded captures no longer expose a misleading comparison page because decoded key files do not contain source timing data.
Validation
- exact source:
b50ec360ondev - firmware API:
88.0 - focused TumoSpectrum/splash/version tests:
26/26 - Tumoflip tests:
320/320 - C2 section gap:
32,004bytes - updater:
119,217 / 131,072bytes - FAP build, APPCHK, package archive and checksums passed
- full updater contains
splash.bin,resources.ths, radio and firmware payloads
Hardware status
The TumoSpectrum 1.0.2 FAP was installed successfully. Exact clean firmware 037-052, its full-update splash, and the direct Compare flow require final device acceptance after installation.
Back up important /int and SD files before flashing. This is an experimental dev prerelease.
