v0.1.0-alpha.1 — Developer source preview
An experimental source preview of Universal Bluetooth SDK for developers and contributors. This is not a production-ready Bluetooth messenger or a prebuilt binary distribution.
Try today
- Go daemon and CLI with a hardware-free stub and a Linux RFCOMM send driver.
- MCP tools, a cloud planner, and safer saved-plan replay.
- Optional local Ollama text drafts with human review before explicit sending.
- Linux/macOS CI, reproducible stub smoke checks, contribution forms and a scoped issue backlog.
Start with the repository README. Go 1.24+ builds both binaries locally; Python 3.10+ runs the smoke and draft example. No API key or radio is needed for the stub demo. Stop the foreground daemon with Ctrl-C. Build outputs stay in bin/; no system installer or service is installed by the quick start.
Contents and verification
The attached source archive is exported from the release commit. go-modules.json records the Go module build list; it is a dependency inventory, not a complete SBOM, license audit, or signed provenance attestation. Dependencies are downloaded separately when building and retain their own licenses. The repository source uses the included MIT license.
Download the source archive, go-modules.json, and SHA256SUMS into one directory, then verify:
shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMSChecksums detect mismatched downloads; they are not a cryptographic identity signature. Source provenance is the exact Git tag/commit and its GitHub CI run. No compiled binaries or model weights are included.
Limits you must know
- Physical Bluetooth delivery, radio performance, mobile background execution and live inference have not been validated for this release.
- BLE GATT, receiving/two-way chat, mesh, end-to-end encryption and Bitchat interoperability are not implemented.
- The legacy Python receiver uses unsafe pickle defaults and is for isolated trusted labs only. Its PyBluez-dependent suite is not covered by the Go CI matrix.
- Agent send permissions, radio I/O deadlines and daemon socket lifecycle still require hardening. Read SECURITY.md before connecting real devices.
- The historical Go module import path is retained for compatibility.
Help build the next milestones in tracking issue #14. Do not use this preview for sensitive or safety-critical communications.

The merged source tree matches the PR head tested by native Linux/macOS CI.
