What's Changed

  • fix(security): real anti-spoofing challenge for A2S_INFO / A2S_PLAYER by @cmer81 in #21

Upgrade notes

  • Behaviour change: A2S_INFO / A2S_PLAYER now require an anti-spoofing challenge (S2C_CHALLENGE). Query tools that don't handle it (pre-2020 libraries/trackers) won't see the server anymore.
  • Update gamedata/a2sqcache.games.txt together with the binary (required when coming from 1.1.x, the Steam3Server signature changed).
  • New ConVar sv_qcache_a2s_challenge (default 1). 0 restores the legacy behaviour live, as a rollback switch.
  • sv_qcache_validate_info_challenge is now a payload string check only; recommended value 1.
  • Don't hot-reload the extension (sm exts reload), restart the server.
