CuteBlock 0.2.2 restores Random dog API mode as an explicit opt-in feature.

Changes:

  • Restored Random dog API as an optional image source.
  • Added a warning before enabling Random dog API.
  • Uses optional host permissions for random.dog and dog.ceo, requested only when the user enables the feature.
  • Bundled photos remain the default and require no external image requests.
  • Kept remote image request sharing/capping.
  • Updated Chrome Web Store privacy-practices helper text.

Validation:

  • npm run check passes, including browser regression and real unpacked-extension smoke test.
  • npm audit --omit=dev found 0 vulnerabilities.
