Description of Issue

I'm not too sure as to how this optimizer will work but if suitable, a potential hazard could be the following. What would happen if the system completing the optimization shuts down or fails while in operation? This could result in some lost code changes and create significant delays in the optimization as a whole. Just a suggestion :)
