drmcru 0.1.3
Pre-release
Pre-release
This release focuses on Hyprland 0.56 compatibility, safer first-run behavior, and packaging reliability.
Highlights:
- Added robust Hyprland 0.55+ Lua monitor config inspection, including local
require(...)modules, literaldofile(...)includes, disabled outputs, comments, and load order - Generated persistent rules now match the active legacy or Lua config format
- Improved live mode switching with polling and rollback attempts when verification fails
- Blocked export when EDID validation finds errors and improved install rollback coverage
- Fixed Unicode path editing crashes, keyboard selection/paste behavior, terminal cleanup, and 80x24 rendering
- Prioritized focused and connected displays during discovery and improved
drmcru doctordiagnostics while redacting home-directory prefixes - Added actionable first-run documentation, checksum verification, and corrected manual mkinitcpio instructions
- Restored the documented Rust 1.87 MSRV, added CI coverage for it, and fixed target-aware release builds
- Improved
drmcru-binAUR metadata and optional dependency guidance
Validated with Hyprland 0.56.0, 106 tests on stable Rust and Rust 1.87, a static x86-64 musl build, and synchronized AUR metadata.
Automatic Apply/Uninstall remains intentionally limited to supported Limine + mkinitcpio setups. Manual Export remains available more broadly.
