@marnific good point. We'll bring back the ability to search across all projects. Coming in tmr's release |

Fixed in #2748 and merged. Typed workspace search now searches all non-archived workspaces, even when filters like Hide sleeping are active. The empty-query palette still starts from the filtered recent list so the default view stays quiet, but typing a query can recover hidden sleeping/default-branch workspaces. |

Hi everyone,
I've noticed that the project search functionality seems to have changed: when filters are active, the search bar no longer searches across all projects.
Specifically, when the "Hide sleeping" filter is enabled (which I like to keep on to reduce noise from projects I'm not actively working on), the search only looks within the filtered subset instead of across all projects.
This makes the search much less useful — I rely on it to quickly find any project regardless of its sleeping status, while still keeping the view clean by default.
My question: Is this change in behavior intentional/deliberate? If so, is there any plan to bring back the ability to search across all projects even when filters are active?
Thanks!
