SJ Paint 0.2.2: editable pending shapes
Pre-releaseOrdinary shapes now stay editable after drawing. Move, resize, rotate and recolor them before committing. Outline, fill, thickness and opacity update live, with previews respecting layer order and opacity.
Reference checks against Paint 11.2605.81.0 confirmed pending rectangle handles, recoloring, movement, resize, rotation, Enter retaining editability, Escape cancellation and outside-click commitment with a single undo step. File, clipboard and layer commands settle pending artwork coherently.
Verified: 160 headless browser checks, 59 hidden Windows package checks, 56 isolated Linux package checks and four atomic-save tests. The local Windows clipboard stayed untouched. Native chooser responses were supplied by the harness; browser copy/print settlement tests use isolated output stubs.
Download and extract the Windows ZIP or Linux tarball. Windows: run Stack Junkie Paint.exe. Linux: run ./run-paint.sh; ./install-linux.sh adds the app-drawer entry. SHA-256 files accompany both archives. Windows binaries are unsigned.
Full Microsoft Paint parity remains unfinished. The next confirmed gaps include selection-session cancellation and delayed clipboard operation ownership. Exact rendering, remaining file compatibility, accessibility and AI/service capabilities remain open in PARITY.md.
