Initial Public Release

This is the first public release of the citizen archive plugin, a WordPress plugin designed to empower communities and individuals to collaboratively document, upload, and share historical and cultural data with archives and cultural heritage intstitutions for long term preservation. It provides a user-friendly interface for uploading, managing, and categorizing multimedia content such as photos, videos, documents, and audio recordings.

Requirements

• WordPress 6.0 or higher
• PHP 8.1 or higher

Notes

• This is the initial public release.
• The plugin is considered stable, but further improvements and features are planned.
• Backward compatibility is not guaranteed until future minor releases.
