A Microsoft 365 mailbox still needs the system evolution-ews package, so the data server can publish it. Letter’s own copy then downloads the mail and keeps message bodies on disk.

Third release candidate toward 1.0. Soft archive, trash, move, and flags stay local until the sync timer, F5, startup, or quit, with an on-disk mutation registry so pending work survives a crash or offline use. Virtual Outbox for Send, Drafts autosave every two minutes. Microsoft 365 Archive moves are bulk and fast again. Flatpak ships a minimal Evolution + evolution-ews stack for Graph mail in the sandbox.
