Touch Bar Doom 0.1.0-7 — stable panoramic textures
Fix texture swimming in the panoramic renderer: floors and ceilings now sample along camera rays, and solid/masked wall scales are evaluated per column. A fixed-camera floor regression previously changed 740 texels when a span was split; it now changes zero.
Includes the tuned 640x60 viewport crop and evenly spaced HUD. Keyboard capture, Quit/Fn, audio, and Mute remain available.
Install the attached optional Arch package with sudo pacman -U ./touchbar-doom-0.1.0-7-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst, then run touchbar-doom launch. Supply your own shareware IWAD as described in the README.
Validation: quality checks, clean package build and 42 regular tests, real-IWAD texture regression and gameplay tests, plus rendered preview/performance check. Modified source, checksummed PKGBUILD, and SHA256SUMS are included; no game data is bundled. For repeated source builds use makepkg --cleanbuild.
This experimental Omarchy demo is distributed separately from T1Bridge and its signed package repository.
Touch Bar Doom 0.1.0 — optional Omarchy demo
Optional playable Doom renderer for Omarchy with a working T1Bridge Touch Bar.
- Classic keyboard controls with exclusive Wayland keyboard capture.
- A proportional 640-pixel game view, evenly spaced HUD, and weapon artwork.
- Quit at the far left, game audio and Mute at the far right; Fn also exits.
- Explicit launch selects the renderer; Quit restores the previous selection.
Install the attached Arch package with sudo pacman -U ./touchbar-doom-0.1.0-4-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst, supply your own shareware doom1.wad as described in the README, then run touchbar-doom launch.
This is an experimental demo download, separate from T1Bridge and its signed package repository. The IWAD is not included. Modified engine source, the checksummed PKGBUILD, and SHA256SUMS accompany the binary.
Validation: 42 unit tests, package build/tests, real-IWAD gameplay and music tests, rendered preview, and local Touch Bar gameplay with keyboard capture and audio.
