Conflicted copy lost the "Conflicted copy" tag after opening it

I recently managed to generate a big conflict (two copies on desktop and three copies on mobile of the same note). As far as I can tell, this all happened while I made no changes to that note. The desktop conflict lost the red "Conflicted copy" tag after I opened it.

Update: since sending this issue, one more conflicted copy appeared on desktop (so three in total), and now none of them has the "Conflicted copy" tag. It's as if SN began treating the conflicts as legit standalone notes and maybe even started syncing them, because I have the same number of copies on mobile (three).
