Stochi

A simple, quick overview of your favorite stocks.

Stochi puts a small chart icon alongside the rest of your Omarchy bar plugins. Press it whenever you want a quick look at the companies you care about—no browser tab, account, or API key needed.

Install

omarchy plugin add https://github.com/stappmus/stochi.git --enable

That is it. The Stochi icon will appear with the other plugins on the right side of your bar.

A quick glance

Stochi's compact stock watchlist

The small view keeps things simple: current price, movement over your chosen time horizon, and a tiny chart for every stock. Stochi refreshes on its own, and clicking a stock opens its Yahoo Finance page when you want more detail.

Make it yours

Stochi's Manage view

Press Manage to shape the watchlist around you:

  • Choose a Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly view. Weekly is the default.
  • Search with a company name or part of a ticker—Microsoft works just as well as MSFT.
  • Pick from helpful suggestions, including the exchange and asset type.
  • Remove anything you no longer want with the × beside it.

Your choices are remembered, so Stochi opens the same way next time.

Keyboard-friendly

You can use Stochi entirely with the mouse, but the keyboard controls are handy:

  • J / K or arrow keys move through the watchlist.
  • Enter opens the selected stock.
  • E switches between the small and Manage views.
  • A jumps to the stock search.
  • X removes the selected stock while Manage is open.
  • While searching, / chooses a suggestion and Tab fills its ticker.
  • Esc returns to the small view, then closes Stochi.

A note about stock data

Stochi reads price and search data from Yahoo Finance over the internet. It does not need a Yahoo account or API key. Quotes can be delayed or unavailable and are meant for personal information—not trading or investment decisions. Stochi is not affiliated with Yahoo.
