New memory checker in Preflight Check!
- The memory and swap check has been given a significant upgrade!
- It now checks for zram, zswap, and swap files/partitions separately.
- Recommendations now more closely match those on our wiki.
Appimage!
- Thanks to @mactan-sc, releases going forward will automatically generate Appimage packages!
- The Appimages bundle all the required dependencies for distros which may not have them by default or cannot easily install them, ie. immutables.
- To run the Appimage, download it below and give it the executable permission in your file manager.
Re-installs!
- Automatically migrates your Data.p4k into a new install!
- During installation, select an existing prefix and the Helper will offer to automatically rename the old prefix, perform a fresh install, and move the old Data.p4k into place.
- The backed up old prefix is left alone in case other configuration or files need to be manually grabbed too.
Logs!
- New menu option in the Maintenance and Troubleshooting menu to show game and EAC log files for quick access.
- Links to the wiki for troubleshooting help.
Other Improvements
- Use an ephemeral winetricks cache. Fixes powershell not updating to the latest version.
- Delete the RSI Launcher appdata dir when reinstalling the RSI Launcher. Fixes some problems with broken launchers.
- Added a fallback in case xdg-open fails to open the launch script for editing. Fixes an issue on KDE.
- Refactor and extend glibc version check to installation.
- Improve curl error checking and failed download messages.
- When installing in no-gui mode, ~ will now expand to the full home path.
- Removed Kron4ek runner source for now. EAC still does not like vanilla Wine.
