What’s New

  • Rebuilt the SDK around an async-first Stateset client with a resilient httpx requestor, retry/backoff logic, and a simple resource registry.
  • Streamlined the resource layer under stateset/resources/, keeping focused helpers for orders, returns, inventory, workflows, and warranties with generic fallbacks for every other
    collection.
  • Simplified the error hierarchy—stateset/errors.py now exposes a small, predictable set of exceptions that map directly to API responses.
  • Updated documentation (README + AGENTS.md) to reflect the new layout, async-only usage, and local build/publish workflow.
  • Added packaging glue (pyproject.toml, stateset/_version.py, py.typed) so python -m build --no-isolation produces wheels/sdists without network access.

Upgrading

Install the new version with:

pip install --upgrade stateset-python

The SDK now requires async usage (async with Stateset(...)) and no longer ships the large OpenAPI-generated surface; switch to the exported helpers or call client.request(...) for custom
endpoints.
