gpbiometrics 0.2.0: Roadmap-closure release

gpbiometrics 0.2.0 is the roadmap-closure release for the Gazepoint Biometrics / GP3 workflow package.

This release adds standalone roadmap helpers, compatibility aliases, updated documentation, pkgdown pages, lifecycle wording, and a roadmap-status document. The package remains Gazepoint-native and conservative in physiological interpretation.

Highlights

  • Added roadmap compatibility aliases and discoverability wrappers for column standardization, format validation, pupil cleaning/interpolation, PPG-derived respiration estimation, and mixed-model data preparation.
  • Added compare_gazepoint_conditions_bootstrap() for lightweight percentile-bootstrap condition comparisons of Gazepoint-derived outcomes.
  • Added physiology/QC refinement helpers for HRV segment quality flags, SCR latency metrics, multimodal signal-lag screening, and exploratory PPG-derived respiration-rate estimation.
  • Added alignment, AOI time-course, event-locked multimodal synthesis, and quality-dashboard helpers.
  • Added ROADMAP_STATUS.md to document roadmap closure, conservative scope, release readiness, and intentionally out-of-scope functionality.
  • Updated README, NEWS, pkgdown site, and lifecycle status for version 0.2.0.

Interpretation scope

gpbiometrics does not infer emotion, stress, cognition, preference, health status, or diagnosis directly from biometric signals. Advanced physiology and signal-processing helpers should be interpreted in relation to the experimental design, sensor quality, and relevant methodological assumptions.
