Lectern 2.3.0
What's new in 2.3.0
The concept map is now a real map
Lectern has always extracted concepts and the relations between them from your lecture. Until now you only saw them as a list. This release draws them:
- Interactive graph: concepts sized by importance, connected by the relations found in the slides (is a, part of, causes, contrasts with, ...). Scroll to zoom, drag to pan, click a concept to light up its neighborhood and see its relations, difficulty, and source slides.
- Coverage as light: concepts glow amber once a card covers them, faintly when cards exist on their pages, and stay unlit while open. You can watch the lecture light up while the deck is generated.
- Sidebar miniature: the coverage percentage in the sidebar is now a live miniature of the map. Click it to open the full view. The grouped list is still there as a toggle.
Update from inside the app (2.1.0 or later checks on launch), or grab the build for your platform below.
