The wp-admin sidebar menu now behaves like the toolbar:

  • A floating ↔ Menu button flips it between left and right — remembered per browser, with a default-side setting. Fly-out submenus mirror correctly.
  • An optional macOS-Dock auto-hide slides the menu off-screen; it glides back when your pointer comes within 150 pixels of its edge, or when it receives keyboard focus. The content takes the full width while it is hidden.
  • Bonus: when the toolbar auto-hides, its floating switch button now settles near the screen edge at 50% opacity, returning to full strength on hover.

Everything is translated into the 26 bundled languages, desktop-only (WordPress keeps its own responsive menu below 783px). Plugin Check: clean.
