v1.3.1 — plain-language quick add, web formatting, Upcoming, and data-safety fixes

Install

Download Tasky-Setup-1.3.1.exe and run it. No administrator prompt — it installs per-user and running it over an existing copy upgrades in place and keeps your tasks.

What's new

Plain-language quick add, on desktop and web. End a task title with tomorrow 3pm, next fri, in 2 weeks, tonight, every monday or every 2 weeks and it's scheduled — and repeated — for you. Only the end of the title is read, so "Call Tuesday about the budget" stays a plain title. The preview under the box shows what will be set before you press Enter.

Formatting on Tasky Web. A formatting bar (bold, italic, underline, bulleted and numbered lists, links) appears while you type a note, and it's saved in the desktop editor's own format. Desktop's inline checklist boxes can be ticked on the web too. Type / in a note to insert a checklist, photo, link or file right where you are.

Tasky Web stays current by itself. It checks Google Drive every few minutes, whenever you come back to it, and on pull-to-refresh. Before, a phone left open never saw other devices' changes until you edited something.

Upcoming, reminders and more on the web/phone:

• An Upcoming view — Overdue / Today / Tomorrow / Next 7 days / Later. The phone tab bar is now Today · Upcoming · All · More.
• Move all overdue to today in one tap, and Move to Tomorrow in each task's ⋮ menu (both undoable)
• Reminders (Settings → Reminders) while Tasky is open, and Add to Calendar for any task — with its repeat and an alarm, so your phone's calendar reminds you even when Tasky isn't running
• Ctrl+K command palette to jump to any task, section, tag or view
• Android: share a link, text or photo into Tasky to make a task; the app icon shows how many tasks are due or overdue; long-press it for Today and Upcoming
• Checklist items wrap instead of being cut off and can be dragged to reorder; the task editor is tidier on a phone

Fixes

• Notes edited on the web lost their formatting on the desktop after a single Enter or double space. They now round-trip in both directions.
• Saved Views vanished on every restart, and the next save erased them from the file.
• Save As to another folder left every image and file attachment behind.
• A failed Google Drive download could overwrite the remote file with the local copy, skipping the merge.
• A brief Google Drive error created a duplicate Tasky.tasky.
• With more than 100 attachments, the rest were re-uploaded on every sync, and duplicate names broke attachment sync.
• Inserting an image, table or file inside a bulleted list or table cell crashed.
• A note containing something that couldn't be saved was saved as empty; it now keeps its text and formatting.
• Undoing the completion of a recurring task no longer lets its next occurrence come back from sync.
• Pasting a screenshot while typing in the search or title box no longer drops it into the note.

Notes

Tasky-1.3.1-win-x64.zip is only there so copies of Tasky older than the installer can still auto-update. If you're installing fresh, you want the .exe.
