The Devourer is a portable Windows x64 file shredder with a four-pass overwrite pipeline, NTFS alternate data stream handling, storage-risk warnings, and live deletion progress.

Highlights

  • Four overwrite passes: zero, ones, CSPRNG, final zero
  • Wipes the primary stream and detected NTFS alternate data streams
  • Rejects symbolic links, reparse points, hard-linked files, and locked targets
  • Normal, Aggressive (ReTrim), and Extreme (ReTrim + free-space wipe) modes
  • Sandboxed Electron renderer with validated IPC and short-lived target IDs
