• global_batch.alternate_formats: a no-flag daily run can draw one content format per day by date parity instead of rendering both, so the two formats interleave day by day at the same posting time -- the shape a fair format-vs-format reach comparison needs. Explicit CLI inputs are unaffected; a drawn side with nothing configured falls back to the other side with a warning rather than losing the scheduled run; each side rotates through its own pool on its own days (the rotation reads a compressed day ordinal, because same-parity ordinals over an even-length pool would visit only half its entries); the dry-run plan names which side the day draws.
